"On a snowy day..." Writing Activity

"On a snowy day.."

 

I did this writing activity with my students. I cut off the top part of the picture for privacy reasons for the child. I took their picture, printed them off, and glued them on the picture. I used black, blue, and green construction paper for this activity. I let them choose between blue and green.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did this activity with my 2nd and 3rd grade after-school kiddo's. They did a great job!

Ninja Turtle Handprint Craft

This is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle handprint craft. I paint the children's hands green and placed them accordingly on the white construction paper. I used white printer paper to draw the masks on the turtles. I colored them with markers. I drew the mouths on the turtles. I glued on the google eyes.

These are super hero masks that I made for my kiddo's at after-school. I used black, yellow, and red construction paper.

Paper Plate Sea Turtle - Craft

This is a sea turtle. I wasn't given much time for this craft, so I cut out the legs, tail, and head before hand for the students. If I wasn't running short on time, I would have let the students cut out their own head and limbs. I used different shades of green construction, glue, paper plates, and a sharpie.

Valentine Craft - Fish Bowl

These are Valentine gifts that I gave my after-school program kiddo's last year. I used white construction paper, Mod Podge, light blue tissue paper, ribbon, and non-sealable plastic baggies. I used the Mod Podge for gluing down the cut up pieces of tissue paper. The bowls message says, "Dear Valentine, I'm so glad we're in the same "school!""
